Patrice Erickson is a realist artist based in Rochester Hills, Michigan. She left the corporate world to pursue her life-long dream of becoming an artist. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Central Connecticut State University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with High Honors from the University of Michigan-Flint. Her art history education inspired her to learn more about the painting techniques of the European Old Masters (15th-19th centuries) and portraiture. Working in this manner gives her paintings a museum-quality finish with depth and richness of color and luminosity.
Her focus is on landscapes and portraits. Examples of her work are on display at the Lawrence Street Gallery in Ferndale, Michigan. She has won awards and exhibited at numerous juried and solo shows. The artist is a member of the Portrait Society of America.
